Country of origin and field of activity

Envotis is proud to work with professionals from all over the world. More specifically, this means that we recruit and help with the relocation of professionals coming from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area and Switzerland (countries whose citizens do not need a permit to work and live in Germany) as well as professionals coming from countries whose citizens must go through a formal immigration process before relocating to Germany (for example citizens from Brazil, Mexico or the United Kingdom). 

Furthermore, Envotis is active in a wide range of fields, such as – to name only a few examples – IT, logistics and healthcare. We are therefore always open to getting to know new potential candidates and encourage professionals that do not find a suitable position on our job page to send us their application / CV at [email protected].

Please be aware that Envotis, as a privately owned German recruiting agency, is not allowed to recruit healthcare workers from certain countries as to not worsen the local shortage of qualified healthcare professionals. Qualifications and professional experience

All the job opportunities offered through our services require some level of formal qualification on the part of the foreign professional. This means that candidates must have – depending on the position – either an academic or a vocational degree in order to participate in our selection process.

Should this be necessary, please note that Envotis will coordinate, as part of its services, the official recognition of your vocational or academic degree by the competent German authorities.

Due to the fact that practical experience is highly valued by German employers, foreign professionals wishing to apply for a position through Envotis must always have, in addition to a vocational or academic degree, work experience in a relevant field of activity.


Most people in Germany can speak and understand a fair amount of English and will usually be very accommodating towards non-German speakers. This is especially true in bigger companies, where a high level of proficiency in English can be expected from almost everyone. For this reason, most of the job openings offered through our services do not require any knowledge of German. This being said, you should be aware that some employers working with Envotis may have specific language expectations for the position they wish to fill. An employer might, for example, need a German speaker for a certain assignment or might look for a professional that is willing to learn the language once in Germany. We will of course inform you in advance should such requirements exist.

Please note that professionals that do not hold a Swiss citizenship or a citizenship of a member state of the European Union or the European Economic Area and that wish to work in a regulated profession (for example nursing) will have to attain a certain proficiency in German before immigrating to Germany.
